about cannabis health radio

Cannabis Health Radio is a podcast with a purpose: to share the hope and healing found in medical cannabis. Through in-depth interviews with experts and powerful first-hand stories from people around the world, we highlight how cannabis has helped individuals face—and often overcome—serious health challenges.

Founded and originally co-hosted by Ian Jessop and the late Corrie Yelland, the podcast has always been driven by a simple mission: helping people help themselves. Since Corrie’s passing in February 2025, Ian has continued their shared work, ensuring that every episode carries forward the compassion, honesty, and dedication that Corrie brought to the show.

Ian brings more than 20 years of broadcasting experience to Cannabis Health Radio. His career has included time in politics and in developing and hosting conferences on a variety of issues, but his true passion has always been in radio.

Before launching Cannabis Health Radio, Ian hosted a talk show where he interviewed guests on wide-ranging topics. One of his regular monthly guests—always the most popular—was Corrie Yelland. Today, Ian continues to host Cannabis Health Radio, carrying forward the work he and Corrie began together.

Corrie Yelland

In 2011, Corrie Yelland was diagnosed with cancer and told she had four months to live without radiation. After declining conventional treatment, she turned to cannabis oil, made her own, and within six months was declared cancer free.

From then on, Corrie dedicated her life to helping others, personally guiding thousands of people worldwide and sharing her story to inspire hope. As co-host of Cannabis Health Radio, she brought compassion and authenticity to every interview.

Corrie passed away in February 2025, but her courage and generosity continue to inspire, and her legacy lives on through the ongoing mission of Cannabis Health Radio.
