Episode 479: He Wouldn't be Alive Today Without Cannabis
At the age of 40, Robb Lapeen from Michigan was diagnosed with a rare and potentially fatal blood disorder that is most often seen in young children. What followed was a year and a half of intense medical intervention: more than 16 prescription medications at once, weekly transfusions, endless doctor visits, and ultimately the removal of his spleen in a desperate attempt to save his life. With his health failing and hope slipping away, a lifelong friend made a suggestion he never expected:medical cannabis. It was a life saver.
