Episode 488: Given Two Years to Live With Rare Brain Cancer Over 20 Years Ago
Jason Berger of Ohio was only 34 years old when he was diagnosed in 2004 with an extremely rare form of brain cancer: Central Nervous System Lymphoma, which is fast growing and deadly. Over the last two decades he has undergone recurrences 5 times, had surgery and undergone a stem cell transplant. After two decades of treatments and setbacks, a few weeks before our interview he had a scan that showed "no evidence of disease." In this interview, Jason opens up about the ups and downs of his incredible journey.
